維克多·雨果是法國浪漫主義學運動的領袖，是法國文學史上最偉大的作家之一。
「在文學界和藝術界的所有偉人中,他是唯一活在法蘭西人民心中的偉人。」這是羅曼·羅蘭對雨果的評價。
他的創作期長達60年以上，作品包括26卷詩歌、20卷小說、12卷劇本、21卷哲理論著，合計79卷之
多，給法國文學和人類文化寶庫增添了一份十分輝煌的文化遺產。其代表作是：《巴黎聖母院》、《悲慘世界》等長篇小說。
雨果幾乎經歷了 19 世紀法國的一切重大事變。他從小崇拜法國早期浪漫主義作家夏多布里昂。 1827 年發表韻文劇本《克倫威爾》 和《 < 克倫威爾 > 序言》（ 1827 ）， 「 序言 」 被稱為法國浪漫主義戲劇運動的宣言，是雨果極為重要的文藝論著。 1830 年他據序言中的 理論寫成第一個浪漫主義劇本《愛爾那尼》，它的演出標志著浪漫主義對古典主義的勝利。
《 巴黎聖母院 》（ 1831 ）是雨果第一部大型 浪漫主義 小說。它以離奇和對比手法寫了一個發生在 15 世紀法國的故事：巴黎聖母院 副主教克羅德道貌岸然、蛇蠍心腸，先愛後恨，迫害吉卜賽女郎愛斯梅拉爾達。面目醜陋、心地善良的敲鍾人卡西莫多為救女郎捨身。 小說揭露了宗教的虛偽，宣告禁慾主義的破產，歌頌了下層勞動人民的善良、友愛、舍己為人，反映了雨果的人道主義思想。
《 悲慘世界 》最能代表雨果的思想藝術風格，他以卓越的藝術魅力展示了資本主義社會奴役勞動人民、逼良為娼的殘酷的現實。 然而，作家深信唯有道德感化是醫治社會災難的良方。小說雖不乏現實主義因素，但就人物形象的塑造、環境的描寫，象徵和對比手 法的運用等方面而言，是一部浪漫主義的傑作 。

I. 急急急！用英文簡述infantjoy

嬰兒只有快樂的記憶

嬰兒長到差不多五個月大的時候每次一尿褲子，肚子餓或者無聊的時候就會嚎啕大哭，各位爹媽經常要費盡心機逗他們開心，而最近來自楊百翰大學(全美最大教會大學)的Ross Flom在《嬰兒行為與發育》期刊上發表的文章指出，嬰幼兒的腦部會傾向於記住快樂的回憶，那些悲傷的記憶則很容易被選擇性抹去。
接受采訪的時候Flom說：「很多人研究嬰幼兒記憶的時候會研究不同情緒的區別，但我們是第一批研究情緒波動是如何影響他們記憶力的人。
不過可想而知，研究嬰幼兒的記憶力比研究兒童和成年人的要難多了，研究人員不可能去問那些嬰兒誒你記不記得XXXX，他們只能通過研究嬰幼兒的眼睛停留在不同物體上的時間，同時通過在影像上加入一些有感情色彩的東西來看看外部情緒是不是會影響嬰兒的記憶力。 做為研究對象的嬰兒會被隔絕在一個只有電視機的密閉空間，接著電視機上會播放成年人對著他們說話的影像，這個成年人要不就一副惡狠狠的樣子，要不就興高采烈或者不帶什麼情緒地講話，再配上相應的音調表情，每次講完的時候，屏幕上會出現一個幾何圖案。 這個階段過後，對於幾何圖案的記憶力測試開始了，這項測試每隔五分鍾和每隔一天進行一次，研究人員會先播放之前播過的和情緒相關的圖案，再播放一個新的圖案，接著他們根據

這些嬰幼兒眼球的運動情況分別記錄下他們停留在兩種圖案上的時間，研究人員推測這些嬰兒應該會更關注那個陌生的圖案。
五分鍾過後，比起那些和快樂情緒相關的圖案這些嬰兒會更關注新圖案，而且他們的眼球停留在代表消極或者中立情緒的圖案上的時間和在陌生圖案上的時間幾乎沒什麼差別，也就是說他們並不是很熟悉這些代表消極和中立情緒的圖形，相反的因為代錶快樂的圖案對他們來說並不新奇，所以他們關注這些圖案的時間更短些，而且比起代表中立情緒的圖案他們顯然更喜歡新認識的圖案。
Flom解釋道，「我們認為正面的情緒可能會加強嬰幼兒的注意力和反應能力，而對這兩大系統的刺激會進而增強他們對於幾何圖案的記憶力。」目前為止研究人員還不是很清楚具體的反應機制，也不知道受積極情緒刺激的記憶力可以維持多久。最近蒙特利爾的麥吉爾大學的研究組還發現嬰兒在一歲前對於語言模式的記憶會保留終生，也就是說人們可以用快樂的音調刺激嬰兒的記憶力，進而整合不同的概念，促進嬰幼兒的認知能力。研究人員將繼續展開深入調查，研究有利於嬰幼兒發展的新發現。
