這是一個美國客戶,詢問了我們一款電競椅的價格。我們的業務員報價之後,客戶沒有反應,跟蹤了幾次依然沒有回應。忽然有一天,客戶問我們的工廠是不是在安吉,得到我們的確定後他說要來工廠參觀拜訪。
見面後,客戶在工廠看了一番,沒有留下名片就走了。客戶回去後依舊沒有任何動靜,也不與業務員聯系。
相信這樣的場景很多外貿人都經歷過。
經過各方面考量,我們還是決定繼續跟蹤這位客戶。通過對客戶進行背景調查後,我們了解到了客戶的相關信息。同時我們也需要考慮到美國的實際情況。
以上述信息作為切入點,我們又給客戶發了一封郵件,這次我們收到了回復。
從客戶的回復中,可以提煉出三點:他與三家工廠在合作;現在不是他的采購期;2018年12月底之前他不需要電競椅。
雖然沒有成功簽單,但是這封郵件也達到了想要的結果。我們收到了客戶的回復並且知道了客戶目前的情況,以及他的采購周期和時間。接下來就需要根據他給出的時間在合適的時候加強聯系。
總而言之,在開發海外客戶的過程中,寫好開發信很重要。

不止一次的跟進聯系潛在客戶很重要,但知道什麼時候放棄也很重要。是什麼時間點呢?當客戶覺得你在浪費他們的時間,或對方真的沒有意向,而你也來浪費開發其他潛在客戶的時間時。
因此,當您沒有更多時間精力來跟進這個潛在客戶時,或者目前無法繼續推進時,可以使用下面這封郵件。

I've tried to reach out a few times now without a reply. Usually when this happens, it means my offer is not a priority right now. Is it safe for me to assume that's the case here?
